Attention Shakespeare Fans!

Are you a Shakespeare enthusiast? Thanks to the British Library, you now have access to view all 93 copies of Shakespeare's 21 plays printed in quarto. With a simple menu search interface, you can view a single play or view two different copies, side by side. If you don't have broadband access you will be able to view scaled down images of the books, but if you desire to view a full screen image, be prepared to wait a while.

Before you head right to the texts, take a few moments to read some of the background information to fully grasp what you will be seeing.

If you have a fast internet connection, fix yourself a mug of your favorite hot beverage and settle in comfortably because you can flip through the plays pages as if you were sitting in a old English pub reading through the lines of your next performance at "The Globe".

Each high resolution page is a glorious 1600 x 1165 pixels allowing for easy reading and hiding none of stains on the pages. Ale? Make-up? Sweat...from the Bard himself? :)
